Busing critic to run for Wake school board
Cynthia Matson, a longtime advocate for neighborhood schools, will vie for a seat on the Wake County school board.
Matson said Thursday that she would run for the District 5 seat, which is being vacated by Anne McLaurin.
The announcement sets up a familiar battle.
