EPCC, UTEP spring commencement events this weekend
Friday
El Paso Community College will have its 2011 spring commencement at 6 p.m. at the Don Haskins Center. The featured speaker will be Manny Medrano, an Emmy-winning broadcast journalist and trial attorney. Medrano is a Jefferson High graduate.
Saturday
The University of Texas at El Paso will have its 2011 spring commencement events throughout the day. Morning commencement will be at 9 a.m., afternoon commencement will be at 2 p.m., and evening commencement will be at 7 p.m. UTEP will hand out its 100,000th degree in its 97-year history during commencement events at the Don Haskins Center.
