Most school districts have Good Friday off
Regardless of religious preference, most El Paso school districts have the day off to observe Good Friday.
The Clint Independent School District is the only district in El Paso to have school today.
El Paso, Ysleta, Socorro, Fabens, Canutillo, San Elizario, Anthony and Tornillo school districts all have the day off.
Clint originally had the day off, but needed to make up some lost time after being closed because of bad weather in February. The board needed to make up at least two of the four missed days and voted to do so on April 22.
