Picture with Placenta Lands Student in Hot Water
According to the school, the students were temporarily dismissed from the nursing program after posting the picture and will be able to re-apply in August of 2011 and possibly graduate in May of 2012.One student, Doyle Byrnes, is now suing the college, hoping the school will reinstate her before classes resume in a couple of weeks. Byrnes is suing on the basis that she is set to be married in August and then plans to leave for Virginia to work as a nurse.FOX 4 talked to the attorney representing the JCCC student but they did not want to go on camera. But they did issue this statement on Monday.
