High School Cover 2 has learned that a second team, Green River, has defected from the NWJCFL The JC league now consists of four teams: Columbia Basin, Yakima Valley, South Sound, and Tacoma Green River, like Everett, has decided that they can do better playing an independent schedule than remaining a part of the NWJCFL League officials report that they fought to prevent these defections but, in the end, werent able to convince Everett and Green River to remain We have been assured, however, that the remaining four teams have no intention of withdrawing and the league is poised to continue the 2011 season without them
We have requested a response from Green River coach Todd Stroschein and will post his reply when received
